Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

  • Account information: your email address, name (if provided), and a securely hashed password.
  • Resumes and documents you upload, stored as files via our storage provider (Cloudinary).
  • Application, interview, contact, offer, note, and learning data you enter while using the service.
  • Minimal technical data: a session cookie, and IP address used only for rate limiting on authentication endpoints.

2. How We Use It

We use your data solely to operate Seeker for you: storing and displaying the information you enter, sending transactional email (account verification, password reset), and sending outreach email that you compose to recipients you choose.

3. Third-Party Processors

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Seeker:

  • Cloudinary — resume and file storage.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (verification, password reset).
  • Our PostgreSQL database provider — data storage.
  • Vercel — application hosting.

We do not use any analytics or advertising trackers.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Data deleted under a request described below is removed from our systems.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at meet.rakholiya.w1@gmail.com. Seeker does not yet have a self-service delete or export button in the product — these requests are currently handled manually.

6. Cookies

Seeker sets a single httpOnly session cookie used to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, session tokens are stored in httpOnly cookies, and authentication endpoints are rate limited. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

8. Children's Privacy

Seeker is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
